Can’t believe people are putting a negative spin on this.

Oh, wait... yes I can.

There are two sides to everything,

Short-term it ends speculation this summer and could help attract other players, Flip side is that very little chance of him seeing the contract out hence the no buy out clause to ensure the club gets top dollar; in essence a recognition he will most likely move on in a year or two,

On balance good news,

Hold on, so the absence of a buyout clause is a sign we want to sell him. Putting a buyout clause is setting an amount that is acceptable to sell at. So no matter what happens, the objective is to sell? Can’t we ever just want to hold on to players?

We will sell him when his agent starts agitating for him to move. Hopefully that will be a good while away yet.

Here you go Suzy, don't get too excited......

I can see why they don't use him in the Nivea adverts.

Gonna take some industrial strength shaving cream for that carpet.

I want to spoon him while I run my fingers through his chest hair.

Dunno about his shoulder being fucked, his impact on the game last night was dramatic and instant.  He scored 60 seconds after coming on as a sub, hit the bar a few minutes later and could have had a hat trick in 10 minutes.  As well as throwing a previously pretty comfortable City defence into disarray with his presence and movement.

He certainly looked a mile sharper than he did in the World Cup.

He might be in the news in the next few days.

Video doing the rounds of him driving away from the match today. Stopped at lights and there are kids asking for his signature on shirts etc. And one autograph seller who films him. Salah doesn't wind down his window or sign anything. He's getting slagged off in the comments for that. But, I don't blame him. His engine is running. He's at lights. It's dangerous to risk a big crowd developing around his car.

Anyway, it looks like he's trying to avoid eye contact with the small crowd gathering, so he picks up his mobile and looks like he's pretending to text on it. Or he could actually be texting on it. Either way, he's using a mobile while in control of a vehicle. You'd imagine the vid will be getting Tweeted to Merseyside Police, en masse, by supporters of a couple of certain teams...
