Aren't there special circumstances where Muslims can eat etc during Ramadam, that apply to the sick, elderly and sports people.

I'm sure I was told that once by a Muslim who I worked with for a few weeks during it. He was a smoker too and was climbing the walls all day, really suffered. Looked like shit cos he was up all night eating and smoking, so during the day he was tired, hungry, thirsty and gagging for a ciggie. Really admired the way he didn't give in to his cravings though, strong faith.

Admirable as you say, but as an atheist, an exercise in futility.

That's my understanding.

You can also make a financial donation to feed the homeless to 'even' it out.

No, nothing should enter the body. That means no sex either and I recall no vaccinations for one lad during Ramadan when I was at school

One of my muslim mates says they can drink water and eat bread during the daylight hours during Ramadam. I guess it is how strictly they follow their religion.

It honestly isn't that difficult, the last hour or half hour can get pretty hard but before that you don't really think about eating. If you're travelling you don't have to fast anyway so if we go to Kyiv, Salah is good. I'm pretty sure if your job requires you to drink water/stay hydrated it is also a legitimate excuse to not fast and cover the days you missed later when you can.

Seen some bitters are trying to claim he should get a ban for an attempted “punch” on Martins Indi yesterday, considering that West Brom player got away with an actual punch on Ings last week, good luck with one you twats.

I see the Stoke player didn’t react at all so that says to me it was something and nothing
