This may be slightly off topic, but I would like to say this about Henderson. He's now one of my favourite current Liverpool players. He has the ability everyone knows was always there. But he just wants it so much. A hungry player is an asset.

We always say that a barometer of the quality of our player is whether they would get in our rivals first 11, and right now I'd say Henderson would get in all of our rivals teams. He's becoming a really top class centre midfielder.

He's in wonderful form. 2nd name on the team sheet behind Suarez

I like Jordan's attitude.

I first noticed it when we were playing in some god-forsaken place where they still point at planes in the Europa League & most of our team didn't seem arsed. We got a throw-in & the ball-boy made no effort to get the ball & Henderson jumped over the pitchside boards, raced across a running track & pelted back with the ball.

It was one of those moments where you thought that even if a player has some technical faults in his game, he is always going to give 100% effort & do everything he can to be as good as he can.

His enthusiasm and professionalism reminds me of Sammy Lee - that sort of attitude is good on the pitch on the training ground and in the dressing room as it sets a standard - one yet to be reached by Moses

Like Rodgers, I would have been happy to ship him out 18 months ago.

It was unwittingly great man-management, because he's stepped up massively since that time.

Still plenty of room for improvement, but his attitude is spot on and he's a much better footballer than I ever gave him credit for. Let's hope he gets better and better.
