How old were you when we last won the league?

22.

I can vaguely remember the 75-76 league win, more through relatives being happy than anything I consciously followed. The 76-77 one was a slight anti-climax (we clinched it with a 0-0 home draw against West Ham), but the European Cup win really lit a flame. That was also the season when I started getting match programmes dropped off regularly by various friends and neighbours- I read every Anfield Review to death.

I was 18 and stood on the Kop.

Me and me mate went the Yankee bar afterwards for a good sing song.

I was lucky enough to be in the Kop for the title clincher in 88 vs spurs as well, although that season was similar to this as we pissed it and it was just a matter of when and not if we won it.

And oddly enough, I don't remember it, but yet remember losing to arsenal the year before with that late Michael Thomas goal.

Same, I can remember that Arsenal loss really clearly. I was devastated!

That Spurs match was the first match I ever attended at Anfield. The main thing I remember is being gutted that John Barnes wasn't playing but then ending up thinking Craig Johnston was boss as he seemed to go everywhere and full speed and never stopped the entire game.

Born August 64 so 25, seems like an age ago. Had the benefit of all our title wins in the 70's and 80's which was great. In some way this one will mean more as getting to watch just about every game live you invest so much energy in a season these days. As a younger lad it was MOTD if you weren't at the game.
