There are two ways this will go

1 We absolutely stonk them 6 - 0

2 They play with ten defenders getting everyone behind the ball, we eventually run out of ideas and they hit us with a sucker goal from a set piece

We do have a habit of fucking up when things a going well!

I fear for Cardiff, I've never seen a Liverpool team play with this much flair and confidence. With a dead-man-walking manager against a team with a chance to go top we could be seeing Premier League era records being set.  Conservatively going for 4-0 but I'm expecting a whole lot more.

7 or 8, then? Or more?

If watching football over a number of years has taught me anything, it's to take nothing for granted.

I'm buzzing this morning. Been up since three. I've got a honey roast ham on the go, family coming up to eat it all, and we've got a game in a bit. We'd better fucking win or there'll be hell to pay, Bren. 200k per week? For one player? Fine, but no more dropped points.

You don't say?

I hadn't noticed any untoward signs of it.

I mean, had you have begun indulging in a spot of virtual millinery or some such in the early hours, I might have tweaked to an uncharacteristically frenzied disequilibrium.

You hid it well.

I thank you.

Pleased to see the bench looking a bit stronger, even with the injuries to Stevie, Daniel & Jose.

A bit worried by the assumptions of a thumping that seem prevalent with the fans & hope that Brendan makes sure it hasn't got into the players, like it seemed to at Hull.

Any win will do & then we can enjoy the weekend's football whatever happens.
