Thats why i not just support Liverpool...i love them! We're a team to stick by our manager...give him time to get his team playing the way he wants and its reaping the rewards.

Can't really argue with that. AVB has 5 points more than Rodgers did at the same stage last season. Another insane sacking at the hands of megalomaniacs who aren't in touch with reality.

Aye.

We lose at City and Chelsea, and find ourselves similarly behind, people would think it's fair to sack Rodgers. So much of football now is hysterical 11 year old girls..

They wouldn't though because Rodgers conducts himself like a sensible person, AVB doesn't.

Hope Harry goes back there. I reckon he'd get the short term just about good enough to keep him in a job for about 18 months, and in that time fucking ruin the club back into relative obscurity long term.

I expect his first move will be to sell Kaboul, and then sign him about 12 minutes later.

Sam Allardyce is only 100/1. The same price as Benitez, as it happens. Mad fucking world.

By pointing out, in his second language, that the press and that colossal wanker Alan Sugar are fucking scum?

Maybe they looked at him the way we did Hodgo - a lot of people thought that was hysterical, too, (not me).

Could you possibly have two more contrasting managers?

One 85 year old budgie with psoriasis, who's greatest achievement in 62 years of management was winning a tin of tuna in Greenland. The other a man who won the quadruple when he was barely shaving.

Fucking hell. I'm glad they've got rid. Long term he could have been good, maybe not. This'll definitely destabilise them further though, and they're likely to replace him with a has been or a never has been.

It's about £15million in pay-offs in the last 2 years.  Crazy.  He always said he'd retire young anyway, I doubt he will want to get back into football again.  If he does, I can't see him coming back to England.  I see him either fucking football off, or back at Porto.

Who really cares. Into managerial dustbin with him. I'll miss the squat of shame for about 5 minutes

Would normally say that sacking him is premature and that Spurs should be more patient. But Spurs were tactically extremely naive yesterday. We found space behind their back four again and again, but AVB did nothing to prevent it from happening. Makes me wonder how much he really understands about football. And he seems to have lost the dressing room, they won't fight for him one bit.

I think I read or heard that West Brom had put Clarke on gardening leave - he gets a big pay-off but cannot take another job this season. I'm of the view that their next appointment needs to have a Spurs connection. The media are speculating on Hoddle's chances while Crooks has been mentioned on this thread already. There is another guy that should be up for consideration though - Jokin' 'Ere.
