Other than bite two players

Once for Uruguay and once for Ajax and obviously to trigger transfers. But if he'd been jailed for them then that would have been appropriate if charges would have been brought in those cases. We've also had the Steven Gerrard case where most of us would have been jailed and we also stood behind Jan Molby when he served time for drunk driving. Flanagan will be moved on when the dust settles but mostly because he isn't a valuable squad member.

I would like to think the club would sack even the finest employee for this kind of thing. But dispensing with a £100 million asset? If there's a chance that another club will pick him up, and you'd have clubs queueing up with their weasely 'everyone deserves a second chance' mantras, then it would be folly to do so. Too valuable to fail - another one for the shitness of modern football thread.

I wasn't really making any point with the biting just replying to Moof point he had never given us a reason to sack him.

Context, here. The bites weren’t exactly violent, just a bit ‘wtf’. Do you think they were sackable offences? I sure as fuck don’t.
