Thinking of getting one to use for,hopefully,Netflix,streaming footy(is that possible?)and just for playing a few fun games.

 

I'm not interested in top spec games type machines as all I want is something for a little but of fun and a relatively low cost and the Wiis look like the cheapest and most affordable out there at the moment.

 

Can anybody recommend games for it and are those fitness Wii games any good for fitness and fun too?

 

Not into role playing stuff like Call of Duty types but more sporty sim,fun games.

Just hacked my wii , via the letterbomb method, now it doubles up as a rather useful network media player.

Can play copied games off a hd also.

Only got the Wii Sports game but I'm looking for other recommendations and was looking at games like Wii Sports Resort,Winter Sports and Tomb Raider,which I loved on Playstation's original system.

Any advice welcome.

Im looking at Wii Sports resort and Tiger Woods from 10 onwards. Are those motion sense adapter thingies worth buying?

 

Love the Boxing game on Wii Sports,its ace. Like a Ward v Gatti match up.

Some of the newer games won't work without the motion adaptors.

The boxing is mint, played it that much my skill level graph is off the top of the tv

Pro Evo is ace on the wii. Well, I like it anyway. Missus has bought We Sing for chrimbo which should be a giggle.Oh, and the curling on sports island is good ol' family fun.

If I get Netflix through the Wii,does the Wii count as one of the 2 devices or doesnt it matter as long as you have access to username and password?

Having trouble watching anything on the internet in terms of football streams as I just get a load of ads and no streams seem to load. I have noticed its an opera browser,does this make any difference as Opera doesnt have flash on my mobile device and dont know if that applies here?

If you can download chrome or firefox that might help or at least an adblocker for the current browser.

It also seems to be stuck on permanent zoom,is this on purpose?

I’ve got mine out the lift recently, I’ve managed to get games and a wii fit fairly cheap off eBay
