Nexus 5

I've had this for about a week now and I'm pretty impressed, especially the battery life. For the first time in a long while I can go almost a day and a bit without having to charge the fucker. It's a breathe of fresh air!

It really is a great phone, although I have to charge mine every night, that's probably because I keep playing about with it though. It's lightening quick and just incredibly smooth to use.

I got the 16gb and paid £299, I sold my Nexus 4 for £150 so didn't have to fork out too much.

Got it on the weekend, upgraded from my old Galaxy Nexus on 3. So far it's been brilliant, the new Android KitKat 4.4 update works incredibly well making it extremely quick and smooth to use.

Only gripe would be the integration of all this new Google shit they have now, making you link accounts and all that bollocks.

Apart from that, I thoroughly recommend it.

Not entirely sure I like this. My screen brightness has been halved by the look of it.

Then turn it up...

They've taken a lot of steps to try and improve battery life - I'd guess screen brightness is one of the things they've addressed given it's probably the biggest battery chewer.

My post was more a little heads up for those Nexus owners who probably don't pay too much heed to techy news, so that they can expect the system update to appear in their notifications any day soon.

The rest of the Android populous will have to wait a little while longer.

What happened to your other account?

Fucking good question!

Hadn't even noticed that - I seem to have created a new account, don't I...

Must have been when I was pissing around logging back into Tapatalk after updating to Lollipop. Fuck knows how though!

I noticed your other account was still active and thought " multiple personality disorder. Explains a lot "
