Rapey must have been watching one too many Bruce Lee film by the looks of that judo gi. I imagine he is more Bruce Leroy than Bruce Lee though

I'm considering watching No Retreat No Surrender again tonight. Awesome, but extremely camp 80's action film, one of Van Dammes first roles. Whole film is on Youtube. Like the Karate Kid except the spirit of Bruce Lee trains him.

First: Cast at Gloucester Leisure Centre. 1995 (I think)

Last: Apart gigs/festivals I played this year I think it was Muse in 2012 at the O2 Arena for the fiancés birthday.

Off to see Sigur Ros at the end of the month which again was a birthday present for her, looking forward to that and I normally can't stand going to gigs I'm not playing at.

I've got no idea what my first gig was. Between the ages of 16 and 22, I went to an average of about one a week, I reckon. There are loads of bands I forget I've seen until I see them written about somewhere and go, "Oh yeah". My first would have been someone like The Sugarcubes or The Wedding Present, I reckon.

My last is hard too because my memory is fucking shit these days. I want to say Jerry Dammers and The Spatial AKA Orchestra at The Phil a couple of years ago but I've deffo seen a few gigs since then. I'll be fucked if I know who though.

1st Prodigy at the Apollo in Manchester Music For The Gilted Generation tour 94-95

Last was Billy Talent at The Manchester Academy Novemeber last year.

Seen loads of local bands though in between last gig and present day.

Got Alice in Chains on Monday and QOTSA a week Wednesday, Academy and MEN respectively.

EDIT: Tell a lie, it was Band of Skulls at the Academy in Dec last year, which so shit I had forgotten about it.
