Just said on the news that the AA want new drivers under the age of 21 to be banned from carrying passengers. What bollocks. Passing your test and getting your mates in the car is a rite of passage. Do we remove all moments of joy in life for reasons of health and safety. Life comes with risk you mitigate danger where you can but you don't eliminate it completely by letting fear dictate every choice.

It's a tough subject.

 

I get the campaigning by the people who have lost kids tragically, because they're young and driving like dicks to impress their mates.

 

But at the same time, why punish everybody?

 

I think technology can play a part here. A lot of insurance policies for younger people insist on black boxes and such. Why can't these black boxes link to Sat nav in some way to limit speed, intervene in braking etc?

Furniture being misused by leaving a load of shit all over it. Example: dining room chairs having bags permanently hanging from them filled with the wife's work stuff or kids clothes. Another example: the bed having loads of folded and unfolded clothes strewn over the top of it (despite going to the effort of making it first). I just want to comfortably sit on my chair or lie down without having to rearrange someone else's shit first.
