When you’ve prearranged weeks in advance to go and visit someone’s house for the weekend and they’ve made absolutely no effort whatsoever beforehand to accommodate you.

Am I the only one that tidies up, puts clean bedding on for guests and ensures that they’ve at least got something to eat, after a three hour drive?

My MiL does that. We get there and she says ‘I’ve nothing in for tea’. Infuriating.

Would that not be classed as a RTA and need reporting to the plod? Just curious.

The insurance companies haven’t said anything like that, so no. It was in a private residents car park and not on the road so maybe that’s why.

Edit: Actually I’ve been in a couple of bumps myself and just gone straight through the insurance without any need for police involvement.

The inflection Phil Neville puts into his words when he’s trying to make them sound exciting when there’s been a close chance (see Kroos hitting the bar with a free kick just now) annoys the shit out of me.

So do hayfever induced sneezes.

I got unreasonably irked whilst watching a live band at a packed pub last weekend.

Ive seen this band before, they are very good and get the crowd going with some brilliant covers.

However, whilst performing Don't Look Back in Anger, the lead singer took it upon himself to change the lyric "Don't Look Back in Anger" to "Don't talk back you wanker"

You could see in his face how hilarious he thought it was and he really over emphasised the line, just in case you hadn't heard him (which as you know is repeated several times)

I'm sure he made eye contact with me and I hope my look of disappointed bemusement was enough to let him know it just wasn't on.
