Anyone gonna make it to 5am? Can see mcgregor keeping his distance and trying to pick him off. I doubt he'll go all out for the finish like the last fight.

Obviously it's good for business if Conor wins, so for that reason, and just cos he's fucking ace, would be nice to see Diaz knocking him clean out.

I genuinely like both guys, so it's a win win for me.

Never been into the UFC but listened to the hype and watched the first fight between this two whilst on a night shift. It's retained enough interest for me to consider setting my alarm for this. My little girl will be up not long after it so I might as well.

How do you see it going? Is Diaz just too big for him? It only took the one punch last time to wobble Mcgregor and ultimately finish the fight. In contrast to McGregor loading up in the early stages, busting Diaz's face up but never really looking like having him in trouble.

What's different this time?

I think mcgregor went out too hard in the first fight. Most guys can't handle Conor's power, but Diaz has a chin of granite. So because it was his first time fighting at 170 he fatigued quicker than expected, just ended up punching himself out looking for the KO, left himself exposed and when Nate connected, he couldn't recover. This time round Conor is more used to carrying the weight so I'm sure he'll pace himself better. He's been training specifically for Diaz, so lots of jujitsu and boxing with tailored opponents. So there are absolutely no excuses this time, he's fully prepared.

For mcgregor to win he needs to keep it standing, use his obvious speed advantage and striking ability to keep Nate on the backfoot. If Nate gets on top he can outbox him, if it goes to the ground, Nate is a bjj black belt with about 15 years of training behind him, under the Gracie banner, super legit, compared to Conor's purple belt, so it's no contest.

I genuinely can't call it either way. Exciting as fuck sport, anything could happen.
