  1. 1. Aaron Ramsey Vs Jordan Henderson

Was thinking about it the other day.

Henderson is engine like midfielder versitile in everyway, he can even play at right back.

The problem is does he score enough goals, and with Ramsey scoring 5 goals already this season, perhaps its time we played him in a mroe advance position.

He has scored a reasonable amount since playing anywhere in a 3 in a 4-2-3-1

Ramsey's best is better than Henderson's best but Hendo more consistent imo

Aaron Ramsey:

Previously = 91 games - 5 goals

This Season = 7 games - 6 Goals

I judge players over a long time, not 7 games. Henderson is a much better player and a few goals won't change that.

Are you Welsh?

Dont see what that has to do with anything. Ramsey's 22, has captained his country, has played regularly at the top level in the champions league for the last 4 years.

Its not that surprising and it is no slight on Henderson's ability either.

The Welsh like to support their players, just interested to know if he is or isn't.  I know you're not Welsh, that's why I didn't ask you.

Redknight is though.  Just interested to see if the majority voting for Ramsey are Welsh.  If Henderson was Welsh maybe he'd get Redknights vote!?

Ramsey, though there's not much between them. He was developing really well before his injury and now looks to be back where he left off.

Henderson's arguably a better fit for us right now though; fitness personified, more adaptable and happy to run all day. Different players really.

Disclaimer: I'm not Welsh.

Sound.

Seems more than the Welsh do rate him, which is fair enough.

I thought he was awful last season, haven't watch much of him this season, but I see he is scoring goals.  Will check him out to see if he has significantly improved.

To be honest, this recent run seems to have skewed perception of him a bit too positively. He's a good player, but this goal scoring form's just a purple patch.

Reminds me a bit of the one Meireles had for us, in the right place at the right time and everything seems to go in, but I wouldn't bet on him to break double figures in the league or anything.

Ramsey enjoying  purple patch, but you have to go with your own player. Henderson is growing as a Liverpool player. Last summer he was offered in exchange for Dempsey. He put that behind him and kicked on. The way he works you would have to think there is yet more improvement to come from him. Henderson for me.

It's close enough in overall talent that there shouldn't be any question for a fan.  A neutral might have a more difficult time.  I've no doubt that most would say Ramsey at the moment with the form he's in, but whoever compared this run of form with Meireles' is spot on.

Sometimes a player, particularly an attacking midfielder, just goes through a statistical anomaly where they get a bunch of goals all in a few games, and for a month they're on top of the world.  However, usually class being permanent and all, they return to their level soon enough.  Sergio Canales another that springs to mind as an example.
