Wednesday apparently, and supposedly the biggest change since the first iPhone. Might swerve upgrading on wed as always had issues upgrading the first day.

Final beta version available from various sources - this is the GM (gold master) which they reckon will be the same version available for everyone tomorrow. I installed it last Thursday on my iPhone 4. Happy with it so far, although some of the newer functions, like AirDrop, won't work on that phone.

Well my update fucked it and I lost all push notifications as well as FaceTime and iMessage. Perfect really. Having been on various forums I've now sorted it but had to reluctantly restore to factory settings. Not a massive deal, but adding all the music and vids back on is a bit of a shit.

 

Anyhoo... Liking the new design and that.

I've just downloaded it now. I was a little freaked out about not being able to close apps until I Googled how to do it. Battery life is a bitch on an iPhone and I had visions of it packing up in the middle of the day if I couldn't close apps.

 

I like it a lot though. Just wish I had Airdrop as that's dead handy. Only on the iPhone 5 and beyond though.

Its a whole it of hoohah about nothing, I'm going back to the iPhone purely because its the only phone I've not had problems with but apple themselves I don't like. They make the slightest change that's been done by many before and claim to be incredible. If they found out you were saving for a life saving operation for your child they would still want your saving because they are essentially the greediest bastards around. I just wish other company's would make a half decent phone that doesn't fuck up.

If you think the font is too fine in iOS 7 click settings then accessibility and activate bold text. Then restart phone.

Had a play around with this today it was so much like my old rooted S2 not a bad thing that as it was great but its definately theft what theyve done, I wouldnt of been to bothered hadnt they stopped my Samsung from putting there own siri that had been in the pipeline time before Apple.

That update to 7.02 came pretty quickly.

 

So far everything running quickly. Including the battery.

Me birds brother has been having that problem, getting txts from Australian numbers

They still havn't updated their clock so you can change the snooze function from 9 minutes.

 

Who the fuck wants to snooze for 9 minutes, it really fucking bugs me.
