My Mrs brought the kids away for the night on Monday. 

 

It's my first time having the house to myself in 7 years. 

 

I went to see oppenheimer, cut the grass, cooked myself a steak and chips. Cleaned the house, without someone coming up behind me and dirtying it again. Then watched Dunkirk before hitting the hay at 10.30. 

 

What a beautiful day that was!

I deliberately stayed in bed this morning until the wife had left for work. 
 

The last two mornings she’s bullied me into contributing financially to some nonsense before I’d even had my coffee. 
 

Lazing about in bed is a ‘money saver’ in these parts at the moment.
