Have I missed something? Did Aston Villa turn into Barcelona overnight, they've a target man in a bit of form and Gabby the dopey cunt agbonlahor as their big attacking threats, they've the worst midfield in the league and a few nobodies at the back. If we want any chance of progression this season these are the games we should be winning, Coutinho, Aspas, Gerrard, Sturridge are all vastly more talented than anything Villa have. We need to make sure we play with patience and don't let them catch us on a counter attack. Sturridge to bag 2 and Gerrard to open his account for the season.

Fuck Villa and their no mark boring cunt of a fanbase! We're in decent form (three league defeats since christmas if I'm not mistaken?) playing some good football and have a far superior starting eleven than those beauts! 3 - 0 to us and I don't care how shit Sturridge's dance is I wouldn't mind seeing it tomorrow!

I think we have more goals in us than they have in them. We need to be on the front foot though because our midfield is a lot better than theirs and our attack is too good for their defense. If we let them get at us then we will have problems because their front three are quality. Offense will be the best form of defense in this one without question.

We will score' date=' so will they. It will come down to a question of who is more clinical, and I would back us with the quality of chances Coutinho sets up to put 2 or 3 past them. As someone said above, Guzan is no Begovic.[/quote']

I think Guzan has done well in the opening two games this season. Admittedly he hasn't performed at Begovic's level but he's no Charles Itange.
