It's a bold fucking statement, but I don't think anyone plays a bad guy aswell as he does/has. I watched 'Things to do in Denver when you're dead' again last night, it's not a great film but he plays his part so well it's worth watching for his scenes alone. His part in true Romance aswell, nothing more really than a cameo was just outstanding, If I were not in work I'd put the clips up.

His voice and manner sets him apart for me, cold blooded to the core, softly spoken with the fear of god, totally fucking cool.

I'm taking an interest in watching all his movies again. He is a trained dancer and incorporates at least a few dance steps into everyone of his movies.

Not only is he one of the all-time great villains but he has a talent for comedy as well - the deranged drill sergeant in "Biloxi Blues" is a standout.

If they ever do a movie remake of the Stephen King book, the Stand he would be outstanding as the villian Randall Flagg.

This is an absolutely FANTASTIC shout. Walken would be incredible as Flagg. Repped.

Some fantastic scenes been posted up here, but not his best...by a long shot. This (and the earlier Russian roulette scene in the prison camp) are two of the most incredible, poweful and harrowing scenes in the entire film (and in the history of cinema imo).

Both Walken and DeNiro are just astoundingly good right throughout The Deer Hunter. The physical change between pre-war Walken, and the junkie Walken seen here really is amazing.

More recently, I thought he was fantastic in 7 Psychopaths too.
