Suarez is our best player. Tiago is far from Barcelona's best.

Barcelona and United are both top European teams. Liverpool and Newcastle are both shite.

Luis Suarez is not our best player. He's merely a cog in the team/ This goes back to the arguement that Liverpool are a ''one man team'' which was created by nitwits who haven't a clue. Liverpool don't have a ''best player'', they are a team and are as good as the sum of their parts.

Towards the end of the season, Liverpools best performer was actually Daniel Sturridge. The statistics prove it too. Daniel Sturridge scored 11 goals in 15 games. He was statistically the most lethal finisher in the premiership.

There is also another valid reason why Alacantra wouldn't leave Barcelona for Real Madrids feeder club. He's on the verge of being heir to the Iniesta throne. Why would anyone sacrifice that to join a club whose best midfielder is a Newcastle reject? Yes Carrick is a Newcastle reject.

So, all players are equal in ability or contribute equally to the team? Like Suarez and Downing, for example?

Even if this were true, it wouldn't disprove my claim that Suarez is our best player.

And it contradicts your previous contention, for what it's worth.

I have made a good habit of not reading MajesticSuarez posts and just read the replies back to him.

As such, it seems that he has been failing massively in each of the topics he has been posting in.

I think you're getting the concept of a ''Team'' and ''individuals'' mixed up. A team is as only good as the sum of its parts. The ''team must be cohesive. Therefore a ''team'' doesn't really have a ''best anything''.

However Luis Suarez is Liverpools stand out individual.

So is the sum parts of a team made with individuals?

Turns out he was a smoke screen to throw everybody off the scent to the player we really going for.

Tuesday expect announcement of us signing the mighty Titus Bramble for the giveaway price of £30 million.

Nah that's not true.

Liverpool plan to offer Manchester United £80 million for Phil Jones. They are in need of a centre-back who turns like a ferry and runs like a cow. They miss Andy Carroll who did exactly the same.

Well according to the shakhtar boss, nothing has been agreed with dortmund. The guy seems to want 30m euros.

Shakhtar chief leaves Mkhitaryan door open for Liverpool - World News - Australian FourFourTwo - The Ultimate Football Website

Shakhtar chief executive Sergei Palkin has claimed Borussia Dortmund have yet to complete a deal for Liverpool target Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Armenian midfielder has long been the subject of strong interest from the Merseyside club, but reports emerging from Germany on Friday appeared to suggest that Dortmund were close to a late swoop.

However, Palkin has now suggested that Liverpool still have hope, with the Bundesliga outfit still some way from confirming the 24-year-old's arrival.

"I have not talked to him. Borussia have offered us €25 million - to us, this is not enough, but we are talking to the German club," he is quoted by football.ua.

"There is a real possibility that we will come to an agreement in the near future."

Palkin went on to explain that he has no knowledge of Mkhitaryan already agreeing personal terms with Dortmund.

"Such questions should be directed to the player and his representatives," he added.

Mkhitaryan scored a record 25 goals in just 29 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League last season.
