So what is it with him. Every time I saw him play for us he seemed to add something to the side. Generally it was off the bench perhaps when the opposition full back was tiring but Assaidi made a difference. He's skillful, can use both feet and shoot. So why don't we seem to fancy him?

He's been linked with Cardiff City.

Litmanen was the worst in terms of not being played, he was a genius and Houllier never seemed to rate him. I like Assaidi, he's fast, got good skills and seems to play with purpose every time he comes on. I think Rodgers likes wingers that cut inside and Assaidi is more of a run to the line type of winger, thats essentially the problem. He's better than the 2 million we paid for him.

Same reason Yesil can't get a game.

Disgusting.

It was very predictable and this is why people who bothered to look at Steve Peters record - and I mean actually look and not fall to their feet in awe because the media told them to - were sickened that he was brought in. You only had to see some of the organisations he's given money to, or endorsed, in order to figure out what would happen next.

Pair a man like that with a man who has Rodgers, let's just say, questionable history and I really fear what kind of principles now inhabit Anfield.
