Suarez: Keep or Sell?

  1. 1. Suarez: Keep or Sell?

    • Keep him; he is nuts but he is world class and we do not sell world class players.
    • Sell him; he is world class but too much of a nuisance to our club. Time to cash in.
    • Not sure if we should sell him or keep him.

The club probably about to buy Suarez has been through a period of selling it's best players so that obviously needn't mean falling into an eternal abyss.

They are in an eternal abyss. They don't win anything...ever. If they signed Suarez it would be a complete change of policy for them. Three times what they've ever paid for a player.

When was the last time Arsenal sold a key player to Liverpool for any price? They made it clear that they'd rather let Walcott's contract run down than selling to us in December, because they considered us rivals for the 4th CL place.

When was the last time United sold any of their key players to their domestic rivals?

Any non paying members of the site just to let you know that now could be the time to go gold. There is the first annual TLW witch hunt underway on the mf gathering pace. You need to be quick though as the places going fast.

You will be issued with your very own Luis (boo boo) Suarez voodoo doll to poke and burn and also supplied with your own pitch fork.

Hurry Hurry only a limited number of places left to fill.

Have a funday people..

PS pets are allowed but we cannot guarantee there safety especially if the pet is either a black kitten or puppy , we have evidence from one of the most reliable sources Alex Ferguson who say he has seen Suarez cooking the puppies and kittens and putting them in a pie and even eating slices of the pie. So please use discreation.

He will be sold to our domestic rivals for the top 4 and the owners will pocket at least half of the money and you will still fabricate bullshit to support their disgusting policy.

I think our fanbase has serious issues as well. Part of our fanbase has lost the plot.

We want to compete with arsenal how come their spending a fortune taking our best players shouldn't we be keeping our best and buying more. Fuuuck I'm just repeating the same shit its just the thought of losing our star man to fucking arsenal is one low blow I don't think I can take. We've been made to look small as a club before but this time and arsenal. Fuck that.

Another former Liverpool favourite, Roy Evans, meanwhile, believes losing Suarez to Arsenal would be 'embarrassing'.

'My reading of the situation is clear - unless Suarez and his agents are flirting with Arsenal in order to get a move abroad, he will be their player sometime soon,' he told Sports Direct.

'And that too will reflect poorly on Liverpool - to miss out to Real Madrid or Barcelona is one thing but to lose your best player to the Gunners is embarrassing.'

Luis Suarez has thrown a custard pie in the face of everyone at Liverpool, says John Aldridge | Mail Online

Yep. That's how it is.

Reinvesting the money isnt enough. Where has the 20m net budget gone? And the 35m tv deal money?

We will continue to stand still or get worse while we sell our best players.

In fairness theres still plenty of time left in the window for that money to appear. Though I'm not going to blindly believe it will.

I'll be honest though, I'm not confident we'll make any real top signings even if the money is there. We might make some good signings but to get back to competing with the best in the league we need real genuine top quality.

Does anyone, anyone know how businesses are conducted?

Negotiations are a big part of football, and in this case Luis just meeting with Arsenal means nothing. The square root of fuck all.

Liverpool CAN say no to ANY transfer. We hold the cards, he can talk to whoever he wants to. He can talk to Arsenal all fucking day, it does not matter; we hold the upper hand.

I seriously doubt he is going to Arsenal and all of you need to calm the fuck down.

United lost Tevez to City and are on the verge of loosing Rooney to Chelsea.

Arsenal lose one near annually.

You hysterical fanny.

Ok say they meet, they talk, they agree....does that mean the transfer is going through?

Would it change the clubs mind?

The only thing that would change this whole thing is if Suarez puts in a transfer request.

So he meets with Arsenal agrees terms............... Liverpool demand 55m Arsenal Bid 45m and 1 pence. Stand off. Suarez sulks (starts drinking copious amount of that Mexican hash tee he keeps in his thermos, pulls some sulky faces and continues to grow a beard in protest......eventually biting ian ayre during a team table tennis tourney at the hotel) eventually sacrifices his signing on fee (5m) to make 50m. Whilst all this is going on Real Madrid come in with an over the top bid of 65 squillion squids.

Bullshit.

Rooney is not sold yet.

Tevez was not sold, he left after his loan from the third party has expired and after United refused to pay the option and make his move permanent.

Arsenal never sold anybody to us and would never sell. They know that they can't compete with United, Chelsea and City, but they'd not sell to us.

55m + 25 + Sales = Circa. 80-90m warchest. or 4 world class players.

ha ha ha

and you think that FSG are going to spend 80m in August. Nice one, one of the best I've read so far.

If we are under no legal obligation to sell him, then don't sell him to Arsenal. Let him go on strike, let him go to court, let him train alone. Sell him in January to whoever is willing to take him then.

We wouldn't have strengthened Arsenal and fucked ourself, even if we lose 20 million off his value. His reputation as a professional will be permanently tarnished.

I am praying the club are seeing it this way too.

Arsenal have a 70 million pound kitty, according to the papers. Tell them "70 million, plus one pound."

It would be a gamble to "force" him to stay, no doubt.

But there is no chance that strengthening Arsenal while weakening ourselves is a positive.
