Yes, football supporters can be an unruly bunch. Mainly working class folk who have been up against it, frustrated at seeing their club being dismantled from the inside with most on the outside content to look on. 2 blokes don't represent a union like 2 blokes don't represent support as a whole.

SOS pass themselves off as socialists, but all I seen that day was grown men who had not grown up and still acted like communists, you know like you do when you are 15 - 18. Juvenile and idiotic. Just like you.

 

Also I am sure every SOS member gave up their right to go the match all in the name of getting the owners out. A lot of people who went on that first march will have ended up sitting in their seats for the game, paying those prices set up by G&H. Wearing their up to date home shirt and bowing down to a manager who said not to march. Yeah 100% in fighting against the dismantling of the club.

I saw heated exchanges but then it was hard to distinguish who was arguing what most of the time given the amount of people and noise. Some people chose to protest inside the ground others boycotted, like myself. That's a democratic union for you. You don't even know what a communist is by the looks of it.

Just to clarify and to put you out of your misery - you said the union claims to speak on behalf of all LFC supporters. This is something you cannot substantiate because it's simply not true. You then misinterpret the union's aims. For example they continue to fight for fairer ticket prices in conjunction with supporters from others clubs. They hope their actions will not only represent and benefit union members but all LFC supporters. You, I can now only assume, wilfully twist that into a negative in an attempt to further smear the union's name.

 

So, from there anything you have to say about the union cannot be taken seriously. You've shot your own credibility and in the process drawn attention in this thread away from the real villains of the piece.

 

What's really pathetic is that if your internet buddies were all for the union you wouldn't have a bad word to say.

Firstly SOS did and still do a lot of hard work behind the scenes and the £10 membership fee helps with admin costs etc and I would presume goes back into the running of SOS, no individual personally benefits from it in monetary terms.

 

People such as Jay McKenna tirelessly worked during the Hicks and Gillett era to get them out and he should be applauded for his actions.

 

KopFaithful came about and in my opinion took the fight into a different direction in that they got the fanbase together to bombard any financial institution who were willing to lend Hicks and Gillett some cash.

 

I firmly believe if it wasn't for the intervention of KopFaithful and rising the Liverpool fans to mass email then Hicks and Gillett would have last another 12 months or so doing even further damage.

 

Lets get it right regards that list, no-one should be on it in an ideal world and such a list shouldn't exist.

 

I personally have a lot of time for some of the names involved but no time at all for others.

 

The club had a cancer at the club under Hicks and Gillett and some of the main tumours were removed, some remain though and mainly in the fanbase.
