A perfectly cooked steak needs no accompaniment

I've quite got into serving it with a sprig of rosemary and a chili pepper, but no seasoning on the steak. If your pan is big enough, you can pan fry both to the side of the steak. Got to be quick though so you don't spoil them or the steak. No, I don't have a decent grill, living on the first floor.

What I meant was no 'condiment accompaniment'....I didnt mean just a piece of steak on my plate. As I have said before I have my steak with fried onions, sometimes mushrooms (the only way I like mushrooms), thin cut chips and mixed leaves. And never forgetting a good full bodied red wine
