I know I’m showing off a bit, but it is the garden thread. It really does look beautiful when the sun shines as it is today.

The back isn’t as structured as the front. Still a bit of a work in progress. I think the wife is going for some kind of wild meadow, nature pond effect but I’m not allowed to ask as it annoys her.

I'm guessing the first one is the path to your front door, looks amazing. I reckon you could have a great game of hide and seek at your gaff.

I hate cats too brother. I'll suggest a shotgun.

Ha ha, the thought has crossed. These are street cats that stupid tourists and expats feed.

Tourists have them on their laps presumably unaware the dirty fuckas are in the bins all the time.

Any suggestions on stopping cats shitting in flowerbeds? I hate cats which I know isn't popular especially here. One expat has 23 live in cats, smelly fucker.

There’s no need for that.

Expat? You mean ‘immigrant’?

Lovely pictures, @YorkshireRed

Isn’t it funny after all these years of gardening people only now seem to be waking up to biodiversity?

Yup - Nice work YR (or your wife anyways).

It's a lot of work to make a garden look like it's not a lot of work.

We had a rough winter in BC, and I lost quite a few potted plants (herbs and vines mostly). Hard to replace everything when we've only got a year left here. Been selling some of my japanese maple collection as well - it hurts me greatly to do it, but has to happen.

Just been doing the ironing, this is the view from the kitchen window, it's all gone a bit mental.

Far better than the stinky old pond.

Thought this was a post from the Foodie thread. Like artichoke hearts with spicy lion head chicken nuggets and peas/carrots - with generous lashings of sriracha.

Get the red bucket in there and it would perfect.
