According to Grinch, over on the FF, Rodgers was worse than Hodgson, because "Hodgson did no long-term damage to the club".

 

I'd argue that, month-for-month, The Owl was far more prolific in damaging this club - saddling it with shit players, introducing an unwatchable football style, convincing our best striker that it was time to give up and fuck off, offering lame excuses for defeat after defeat, etc.

 

Some might argue that Rodgers was dragging the club towards mid-table mediocrity.  There's probably some truth in that, but his tenure was also marked by some stunning football.  Hodgson offered nothing positive and had us heading towards relegation-battle territory.
