Well, I did. I was incredibly happy with the (potential) signing.

 

Anyway, you can't dig up quotes to make somebody look stupid because being wrong isn't foolish. I've been wrong about Henderson but i'll put my hands up and admit I was wrong. Thats why I wasn't foolish - I was wrong. The best managers in the world have been wrong...it happens.

 

When you get things wrong continually (as opposed to now and then, like most of the sane posters on here), declare your opinion with supreme arrogance (or mongery, as in Code's case) and then lie to pretend it never happened or staunchly defend your wrong opinion, then you're a fool.

I think Henderson in time will prove to be worth every penny of his transfer fee and more. As for getting signings the quality of Sturridge and Coutinho will be difficult especially at the fees we paid for the pair of them.

We will be going for top talent in defence, I think those players go at a premium.

I thought Lucas' second half performance was as good as I've seen from him this season. A major concern for me is how we are set up to play on the break. It looks brilliant when we're winning but impotent at 0-0. For it to work next season we need our defence to be rock solid and I'm worried that it won't be x
