Christmas pan's maiden voyage into the oven today with honey and garlic pork loin with root vegetables.

Really impressed with the outcome. The lid self bastes so just left it in for an hour and a half, internal temp was 60 so rested for half an hour watching the end of the unmentionable before making some butter-rice.

Delicious, simple food.

Looking forward to this.

Beef, chorizo, onion, mushrooms, baby corn, stock, sugar, paprika, flour, lea and perrins, thyme, salt, pepper all slow cooked as a stew.

I’m thinking baby new potatoes and peas (obviously) on the side.

Should be ready at 6pm.

I love haggis but much prefer it with peas and tatties and a gravy you can stand your spoon up in.

Same here with sauces and gravy’s, this had nothing much to thicken it, reduced it down as much as I could, but no joy. Loads of Whisky in tho!

Haggis, beans, a chicken burger and Garlic Bread Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face.

Haggis cooked in the air fryer like Bobby Burns would've wanted. Celebrating my Scottish roots.

What's the recipe you used for your veggie haggis?
