After my mum being dead for 13 years this year I got nostalgic over the Christmas period and just really fancied one of her cheese pies. So made one today and introduced the Boy to one of my staples growing up.

My missus doesn't really enjoy cooking so rarely makes the effort, and she's a veggie to boot.

 

Most of the time we eat together I cook but she will from time to time.

 

A few months ago she decided to make her mums old cheese pie recipe for us. Different to yours as it had a lid on it, but it was delicious.

 

Yours looks incredible though and it's made me think ill ask her to do hers for me again next week.
