New Orchid Garden, Eaton Road. 8/10

Haven't been for a few years and dsepite new ownership still as good. Lost a point as our table for 16 wasn't ready but being Fathers day and everyone eating early for 8pm tv event no big deal. Banquet for 2, £30 which is reasonable.

Chicken and sweetcorn soup. Ribs, spring rolls and prawn toast. Crispy duck. By the time these mains arrived we where stuffed.

Lovely Chinese that. Went for my 40th. Could have eaten about 6 mains.

Her little nephew ordered prawn crackers for his starter but people assumed they were just for the table so we’re leaning over taking them. He had a full blown meltdown. Hilarious.

The state of them plates. Do they serve soup on a plate as well?
