Practically a TV dinner, that.

That's exactly what it was.

Put the lamb shanks in before work, got home and just quickly did the mash and veg then sat in front of the telly and cleared the lot with a bottle of red before passing out on the sofa before the unmentionable highlights.

Had to work yesterday afternoon so couldn’t do a roast. So put lamb shanks in the oven for 6 hours and had this instead.

Just a bowl with a bone and three carrot tops in it within about 5 minutes. Splendid.

Had an extremely long couple of days working and haven’t seen my daughter since last Thursday so took her out to the pub for tea and card games.

She had the toad in the hole, I had gammon and egg.

lovely.

I was in Sainsburys before and happened to walk past the whoopsies.

Christmas sandwiches, today’s date, down from £2.95 to just 75p.

I do love myself a Chrimbo butty. I’m proud of myself for only picking up one. I’d finished it before I got back to the car.

It’s that time of year again. I fucking love Xmas butties, me.
