I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, sugar tax has absolutely ruined San Pellegrino Limonata.

And a couple be agreed with you before and I’ll agree with you again; it’s way too tart.

Unfortunately to my cost I have tried crack cocaine many times in the past. I’m a recovering addict. I’m happy to report I’ll be 18 months clean next week. My life is unrecognisable really to how it was at my lowest ebb a couple of years ago. One of the key factors in my recovery has been getting into cooking. I love it. Hence my last couple of posts in here.

Fuckin’ A.

Vietnamese pork black puddings. Fucked if I know how they make them. Very tasty but a totally different herb/spice flavor. About 80p each, charcoal grilled.

I thought I'd bought a sweet potato until I got it back and it's a fuckin' Yam, I steamed a bit and it's pretty tasteless, I'll have to google what you can do with it.

Are they not the same thing?

Bad grammar has no place in mine. It's mass produced. Besides they are very tasty.

They look alike but a sweet potato is a reddish colour and has a taste but the yam is white and bland, maybe an added ingredient is what's needed as I often put in a bit of horseradish in mashed potato.

I'm sure @Mook could offer some good advice.

Morrisons pack of two muffins are really good, chocolate and cherry with fresh cream or Lemon with fresh cream. Soft and light. I want one now and I haven't even had my bran flakes yet.

Big fan of these Wings from Aldi. I chuck the sauce that comes with them and use Siracha instead.

It's basically chilled condensed milk whipped with brown sugar on unsweetened pastry. It's basically a caramel tart. As KidD put it, "it's so sweet it makes you smile!"

    • The outstanding start by Diogo Jota to his Liverpool career has been acknowledged with Michael Owen saying that the Portuguese star has been the best signing of the new Premier League season.   While Thiago was seen as the prize capture by the Reds during the Summer transfer window, it has been the 23 year-old former Wolves man who has made a seamless transition scoring nine goals in just 15 appearances in all competitions.   The quality performances of Jota have been worth their weight in gold when you consider the  amount of absentees Klopp has had to deal with through injury.   His rapid progress has caused Jurgen Klopp to shake up his front three with Roberto Firmino the man to miss out on a few occasions, a proposition that seemed highly unlikely just a few months ago.   That added depth to the front line has been seen by many as the final piece to the puzzle in Liverpool being the ultimate all-round team.   The performances of Jota have been worth their weight in gold when you consider the   amount of absentees Klopp has had to deal with.   Speaking on BT (via Metro) the former Reds striker said that consistent form of the forward has been a pleasant surprise.   “No one could’ve predicted that he would hit the ground running like he has.   “He’s surprised me with his pace, I must admit. I think he’s far quicker than I gave him credit for.    "Against Atalanta he was electric.   ‘He just shows composure, a lot of people panic, they just get a shot off as soon as they get any form of space. ‘I just think he’s scored headers, right foot, left foot, he’s scored everything so far and he’s looked the real deal in terms of linking play.   “Nobody could have envisaged the quality that he’s shown so far.”     Fellow former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch added that the ability of Jota to adapt his game has been clearly evident.   “Klopp’s obviously seen something in him, putting him more central or along the three of the strikers that they have. ‘He looks like a poacher.    “He’s getting goals in the six-yard box, he’s got headers, he’s got all types of goals.    “He’s a top, top signing."
