Lifey’s brother now looking from Col, to his wife, and back again. Excellent work Springy. They’ll all be on the Jeremy Kyle show doing lie detector and DNA tests in the next six months.

Made a decent chippy style salt and pepper topping before for a piece of salmon I pan fried

1 onion diced

1 green pepper diced

1 Birdseye chilli sliced thinly with seeds

1/2 tsp chilli flakes

1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice

Splash of vinegar (I used white wine)

Salt and pepper to taste

Funny enough had them the other day

Strange but pretty good. Though prefer fruit

Did you toast them? They’re boss toasted and buttered.

Not tried those ones yet Tone, but been on a hot cross bun a day for about six weeks and M&S are the class leader.

Toasted, obviously, with about half a pack of butter.

No-one else makes Hot Cross Buns like M&S but 'Salted Caramel & Chocolate' as well as the dried fruit has always seemed like too much going on to me...

...but when you put it like that, Lee, I could be almost tempted

(forgive the smarty pants spelling changes)

There's no fruit in them ones. Just chocolate and caramel if that's what you mean by to much going on

Ah, right. It looks like fruit in the image

Still, I might risk buying a packet and taking them into work. They'll eat anything

Marmalade, you say? I don't know about them. As it happens, I have one their 'original' ones in work with me that I'll be having with marmalade in a little while so that'll be a pack of salted caramel & chocolate and a pack of marmalade ones on my next trip to M&S, thanks GF. I'll report back
