Had some turkey mince to use so made burgers.

500g turkey mince

2 rashers smoked back bacon

1/2 onion

1 large clove of garlic crushed

1 tsp Chinese 5 spice

Breadcrumbs

Blitzed the bacon and onion in the blender. Added everything else and whizzed into a course mix. Formed burgers and fried with lid on about 5 minutes each side.

Fucking delicious and KidD said it was the best tea she had ever had.

Aldi had some salt, black pepper and chilli dry-rubbed pork belly slices the other day when I went in, thought I’d give them a go.

Just did the lot of them in a sitting. Got a lovely kick to them. Blown my fucking head off.

Sound nice. That said, I’ve never had anything decent from Aldi.

Yeah, their fresh meat, fruit and veg look decent. It’s the pre-prepared stuff, such as pies and pasties, that are turd. Their ‘Melton Mowbray’ pork pie, in particular, is vile - grey meat encased in a house brick.

Agreed. The processed stuff they sell is generally utter shite. I do like their Wagon Wheels though.
