I blame Rodgers because he's the manager that picks the team, the system, makes the subs (and keeps taking off the same player despite him not being the poorest player, etc etc.)

 

We have just drew 0 0 twice in a row against Real Madrid and Barcelona you know, sorry I mean West Ham and Reading.

 

He cant keep usi g the same excuses every time we fail to win and expect us to accept them.

And if the likes of Ashley Williams is the type of player we are looking at signing we will be having the same discussion in 12 months time.

Two points from three games towards the end of the season against Southampton, Reading and West Ham. That does not make for happy reading.

This and the WHU match are the sort of games when our possession and precision reliant play seems to cry out for some variation on the theme ie direct pace.

Their goalie did play a blinder but apart from the offside I can't recall us once creating as a clear cut a chance as Hunt's which Reina saved with his legs. This resulted from an early ball down the left cut back for Hunt to attack the 6 yard box.
