BBC News - Boris Johnson 'called Scottish devolution disaster'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-54965585

He's made a cunt of it again but he has a point. From the millions wasted on Holyrood to the huge irreparable split we have right down the middle of our population, it has been a bit of a disaster.

The SNP can & do get away with any old shite up here & still piss all the voting too, they're not an awful lot better than the tories.

Can only seeing it help add weight to the calls for independence.

Johnson is everything we Scots despise. In short, he is a Cunt who represents a gathering of cunts who rely on other cunts to be stupid cunts to allow them to continue with their cunting.

What happens if they leave and someone wants a vote to rejoin every five years? Perpetual division.

It's perpetual division now anyway, has been since 2012/13. The genie is out the bottle.

Nah not saying you are mate, I just hate him. He gets off scot free but he's the architect of both austerity and brexit. Vain, thick, horrible malevolent Richard Madeley cunt.

I agree with her. I hope we are particularly cunty about our military hardware etc. No joint military, no bullahit concessions, no nuke sharing, no keeping jobs in Scotland to help them through. If they want to leave, like we did with the EU, it’s on the leaving party to suck it up.

Hahah. The only ones who lose out is Scotland. They gain some stuff too but they also lose out. They can complain about the Tories all they want, if the daft fuckers all voted Labour none of us would have them.

Nobody gives a fuck, that’s the whole point, just make it happen so we don’t have to be bored by it every two minutes.

Will be interesting to see what happens to their politics if they become independent. Labour and Tories, such as they are, will no longer be relevant. Will be a one party state for quite some time.

I don't think that is true.

Going on something I read after the last GE, if every seat in Scotland had voted Labour, the tories would still be in power.

Difficult to vote for Labour up here, Scottish Labour make Laurel & Hardy look like fucking geniuses.

Well, 2017 would have got them out. Then the 2019 wasn’t have happened. But I definitely take your point about Labour up there.

Aye, 2017 would have been different.

I'm on your side, I voted Labour at both General Elections despite the complete hopelessness of it all. My ideal scenario is a United Kingdom with a good Labour Government (in the EU).

My take is give them a vote, let them vote for independence, pull out of all the military bases then invade and take it back by force. No more devolution, a slave fucking state to their English masters. That’ll teach the ungrateful fuckers.

Sturgeon must have an answer to the central bank and currency question

Reminds me, when I was about 8 I decided i'd had enough and was leaving home. Got as far as the back of the flats and realised I hadnt packed anything for my tea. I sat there for about 2 minutes contemplating and decided it best to go home. 20 minutes later I was eating findus meat pancakes and my mum never mentioned the episode again.

    • Mo Salah is planning to appeal the decision by Liverpool to not release him to play in the upcoming Olympic Games in Japan.   Salah was certain to be named as one of three over age players for Egypt for the games which begin on the 22nd of July but Liverpool have blocked him from taking part.   The reluctance of the club to let their superstar go is clear as the sporting showcase concludes on the 7th of August which is just one week before the new Premier League season begins.   With the possibility of Salah having to self-quarantine on his return to England, it could be a few weeks into the season before he takes to the pitch with the Reds.   However the Mirror ( per Network ONTimeSport) report that the Egyptian Football Federation and Salah himself is not taking the decision lying down and Football president Ahmed Megahed spoke about the situation.    “I do not want to say that it is impossible for Salah to participate in the Olympics, but it is difficult.   “Salah agreed to lead the Olympic team during the last camp of the Egyptian team.   “We contacted Liverpool to allow Salah to join the Olympic team, and they said they were waiting for the approval of the technical staff.   “In the end, Liverpool refused the request because they do not want to lose the player at the beginning of the season, as well as next January with the Africa Cup of Nations, which will keep him from participating in the English Premier League matches.   “We spoke with Salah again, and he told us that he will make a new attempt with the technical staff of his team, to resolve the matter, and within the next two days he will find a way.”     If this particular saga draws out, it gives Jurgen Klopp a headache he can do without on the eve of a new campaign.   Salah has been nothing but professional and a proven world class talent whenever he has taken to the pitch to play for the club, but away from it he has a knack of giving interviews which casts doubt on how long he will remain with Liverpool.   His current deal expires in 2023 meaning there is no pressing need for him to sign a new one at this stage.   Salah will be 31 in two years time, but he has a great durability over his Reds career and the club will take a number of factors into play.   The main one is in fact if the player wants to extend his stay, and plenty of things can change over a period of time.   For now let’s just hope this particular matter can be addressed as amicably as possible and Mo is in the starting line-up against Norwich.
