Does Rodgers deserve another season.

Sacking Rodgers too early, what exactly has he won these past few years ( how many years by the way ) . Compare it with other managers who've been recently sacked ( say past ten years). I d say a decent description would be...Hodgsonesque. Defend it if you can.

do you think hodgson would have won the league if he d had 2 years with suarez?

Do you think kenny would have if he d had another year?

Il based on what hodgson has done with england at wc not to mention his time as manager here -not a chance.

Kenny? I dont know. We created loads of chances but couldnt score and we were conceding from every other chance (sound familiar?). It would have depended on who he signed the summer rodgers took over.

They would have been HIS signings, without the influence of Commolli. I doubt he'd have bought the dross Rodgers has. At least Villa don't have Benteke to run rings around our defence (I use the word defence in a theoretical sense) any more.

The saddest part of every sacking is those fans who reluctantly admit the manager needs to go "for his own sake" as a shithouse way of maintaining superfan status.

As long as you can come across as better than other fans, you will defer to the rabid voices calling for the sack. Do one.

I said if he had 26 points after city away which is I think our 13th game he d be doing brilliantly given our run of away games.

to do that now he d have to win 6 out of 7 which means beating most of spurs everton chelsea and city away as well as winning home games which is proving just as difficult.

Bit of revisionism here but im now saying if he has 19 points after city he ll be doing pretty good.

bottom line is unless he starts stringing some wins together he's gone before the city game.

What is the point of this post? Fencesitting makes no sense whatsoever.

Does anyone honestly think he'll be able to turn this around and get into the top 4, put 2 decent cup runs together and challenge in the EL? Because other than a miracle of Suarez proportions I don't think he's capable. There's absolutely nothing he's done since March last year that shows he's capable. Therefore he should say his goodbyes or be pushed. Decisive action is needed, quit the fucking around FSG.

I'm off to listen to Bill Withers, have a pleasant day TLW folks.

British pundits always defend mediocre British managers because they hope one day to follow in their footsteps and become mediocre managers themselves.

The whole English football setup embraces mediocrity. They put Trevor Brooking in charge of finding the next generation of english talent and have Roy Hodgson as manager.
