It's not one of these shows that's all slow and brooding, it's not your intellectual's choice; it's in your face and full of tits and violence. It's just a cool tv show. It's what watchers of the A-Team and MacGyver would have liked when they grew up.

Yeah that was exactly the basis on which I've decided to download it.  Fillet mignon is nice, but sometimes you just want really good chips and gravy with a can of Tizer.

Well, the gravy, obviously. Curry sauce is the correct accompaniment for chips, aside from salt. Gravy is just plain wrong. Uncouth, and wrong.

Not the best show on TV, it isn't a Game of Thrones or Mad Men. It may well however be the one I enjoy the most and look forward to each week. Unlike many of the other cable shows it scratches an itch that US films just don't any more. They still make decent dramas, thrillers, comedies etc. that are aimed at an adult market. I can't remember the last US studio action film that wasn't PG-13 or at most R but equivalent to 15 rated.  

 

Recently watched S2 of Strike Back. Its also worth a watch if you crave some well shot violent action and boobs.
