Finally got around to watching the last series. I thought it was good, Not sure why people have slated it.

Yep. You can nitpick at a few things like Proctor not really being at the races for the whole season and a few other things but overall I really enjoyed it, same as the other seasons.

The Bunker/Neo-Nazi stuff was very good, Although I was confused at first as I thought the guy who got out of Jail to lead them was the Army Guy from season 3.

Have tried to recommend this to my mates but I've realised they are way too far up their own arses. One saw the pilot and said it was clichéd. Everyday I lose a little bit more faith in humanity.

However the good news is that I'll start watching it again.

First episode of a new series called Warrior by the creator of Banshee aired last night. Looks boss. Synopsis below:

Set at the times of the Tong Wars in the late 1800s in San Francisco, California. The series follows Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy originating from China who immigrates to San Francisco and ends up becoming a hatchet man for the most powerful tong in Chinatown.

It is based on an original concept by Bruce Lee.

There’s a run from s3e03 to the end of season 3 that has no parallel in TV history.

Shows like The Sopranos, the Wire et al were better but you couldn’t beat that year for a visceral thrill every week.

Think it was detailed at the time on this thread, but it was unbelievably exciting.

At what point does it get pointed out the sheriff is a fucking lunatic.

3 or 4 episodes in and he's killed a couple of rednecks, broke anothers arm, fucked all the woman in the town and thats without getting in to what he did to that ufc fella.

Ps what happenef in that ufc fight episode, cameras are in every scene and the minute they fight not one is to be seen.

Hmm.

There’s a fella who posts on here who sounds a little like this…

Watch Warrior.

It’s based of Bruce Lee’s writings and the show the people from Banshee did immediately after.

I would be astounded if you didn’t think it was glorious, because it is.

C’mon Kev, give me some credit. Doesn’t quite hit the heights of Banshee though.
