He keeps that level up and we'll have the issue at the end of the season of fending off RM and Barca.  Him, Sterling & Sturridge are going to cause fucking mayhem at stages this season.  We just need to make sure we can still win games when it isn't quite happening for them, as it won't always.

Big Phil leaving Little Phil out of the WC could work in our favour 'cos he looks like a man on a mission at the moment.  Long may it continue, I absolutely love watching him.  How many other players in the Prem can see a pass so quickly and execute it so effortlessly ?

What's his contract situation?  If he keeps up this sort of play for a month or two we need to get him locked into a long-term deal (with a reasonable pay rise; I assume right now his wages aren't that high) to avoid problems next summer hanging onto him.  He looks like he's determined to make this his breakout season.

He's such a technically gifted player, some of the balls he tries (don't always come off) will be ones that I haven't even seen from the stands.  He's young and fearless, so he takes risks which I always feel British players don't take.

The only downside to his play, seems to be his shooting.  It's usually woeful, how many times doe he drag his shots wide and other than the City one that was fired at him so the momentum was already on the ball, he doesn't generate a lot of power.  That's something to work on though.

Hopefully we can double his £40,000 p/w and get him tied down for another 5/6 years.

He does have a bit of a wavelength thing going on with Sturridge.  It looked against Dortmund like Sterling was getting on that as well.  Those 3 will have spells this season where they make defenders lives an absolute fucking misery.  Hopefully we can turn that into goals and the dry bummings we were dishing out will continue unabated.

I'm not fussed if Brazil play on the moon, while it might impact us slightly, a Coutinho full of confidence playing for his country is only going to make him a better player for us.

Unless he does shit and his confidence takes a hit, in which case, fucking Brazil can fuck off.

Yeah but the downside is potential injuries and tiredness.

And the obvious risks of re-entering the atmosphere.
