See my birthday brother's post on this subject. Spot on.

I couldn't give a toss about Arsenal, I neither like nor dislike the club. The Johnny-come-lately bellends who appear to support them nowadays don't bother me, as I never encounter them on the internet, and I wouldn't set foot in the soulless, overpriced plastic bowl that is The Emirates. If we accumulate enough points between now and the of the season, we will finish in the top 4. I'd sooner concentrate on that, rather than waste energy worrying about what Arsenal may nor may not achieve.

In related news the silly cunt has just rewarded Nani with a brand spanking new five (FIVE) (5) year contract.

Five years!

I know . He's 26 and hardly likely to improve . To be fair to the lad he did supply one of the best comedy moments of the last few years when he burst into tears after Carra clogged him. Never tire of seeing the clip where in the Lazarus style he leaps to his feet to show the ref his cut leg.

Last thing we want is him getting sacked and then replaced with Heynckes or somebody good. Keep Moyes in. The chosen one. In Moyes we trust.

The mancs' fall from grace will be unprecedented. Our dominance was always on the pitch, but theirs was both. They'll continue to have a massive turnover in the short term but it will be interesting to watch as their aura fades and what is quite literally an entire generation of fairweather fans flies the coop.

The mancs' specialise in arrogance too, which is something we never did. Our songs were and are sung in grounds the world over, we clap the opposition goalie, the mancs are pretty much universally despised as a fanbase. They'll have few friends when the slide truly begins. You reap what you sow, and I for one have got the popcorn.

I cant believe anyone actually thought he would do a good job there.

Ferguson had them overachieving for years, Moyes is just shite and he goes against almost every single thing Ferguson benefitted from as a manager, the willingness to push his team forward always looking for that goal.

ferguson had them 'overachieving'? Fucking hell code, you really can spin 'em.

Anyway, funny as fuck they got done today (just found out a few minute's ago). The results apart from arse have gone well for us. We really need to get a positive result at the stadium of shite tomorrow.

I agree with Code on that. Look at how they virtually ran away with the league last season? There's no other manager on earth which could have got that level of consistency out of that group of players. They're a good side but no way should they have been nailed on for the title the way they were.

Is utter bollocks. We won the title a few times when it was poor. Suppose we overachieved then did we? Or is it a case of other underachieving?

This bollocks (for that's what it is) comes from the same mindset that we were 'as good as them' but just didnt have the title winning mentality. Er.........

I challenge you to name a Liverpool title winning side as average as theirs last year in terms of quality.

I don't think we were/are as good as them, although I think if we'd had a Suarez and a winger in our 2009 side we'd have been up there with the best in the world in terms of first XI quality players, let alone the mancs.

Credit is given where it's due, the mancs have had some awesome sides, their late 90s team is one of the best sides I've ever seen, but they've steadily declined ever since (when was the last time they could call on 4 top class strikers in a single game like that, or had a midfield general everyone feared) and relied on a core of world class players and the drive of Ferguson to push them beyond their limits.

If by 'overachieve', he means take a group of players and make a team that was more than the sum of its parts, I totally agree. How he got those players to dominate the league since 2009, I'll never know.

If he means they were lucky, or doing something they weren't entitled to do, I disagree: they took players, played to their strengths, and through good management and coaching, won points. Fair play, the cunts.

My view would definitely be the former.

Re read my post before issuing challenges. I said we won the title a couple of times when the league was shit.

Its subjective whether manchester last season 'overachieved.' If you and others think so, fair enough but I think that is niave. ferguson was a twat who used all the tricks he could to pressure refs and opposition alike to get the result he wanted.

manchester may well have won a couple of their titles with overachievers. How many times did we say 'how the fuck have they won it again?' but the point is, you still have to be better than the rest to win the title.

Disagree all you want, they may have 'overachieved' or alternatively, the rest of the league underachieved.

Same here. A good manager can make a set of players believe their top quality, and from there they push on and do things that they might not if they were playing for MoN at Villa. Just the way it is.

A fucking men!

I knew, anyone with an iota of football knowledege knew.

Said before the season they won't get CL, stand by that.

The squad they have is absolutely awful bar van Rapey and an in form Rooney.

Ferguson as most knew was an awfully good manager, the cunt.
