The natives are restless. Twitter has #MoyesOut trending already! Hahahaha

Now they know how we felt when the owl was foisted upon us. Enjoy!

Six years is a joke. He'll be lucky if he serves two of those. But he'll still get his payoff' date=' though.[/quote']

TWO years? Wow your optimistic! I'd give him 6 months if he's not winning the majority of games and he goes out of the CL quickly.

But as you say it's his pension sorted straight away!

I reckon he'll basically be the cunts apprentice for the first couple of seasons. I just can't see it being the disaster most do.

All I hear and read is that Moyes is a "sensible" choice. That is good, sensible choices tend to produce mediocrity. I'd be more worried had they taken a risk with Klopps and like.

I heard the term steady the ship yesterday on sky.

Not that there is a ship to be steadied there but where have we heard that before?

Disaster would be them struggling for the top 4. And that isnt out of the question at all.

Yeah it's not out of the question, I bet they won't struggle for the top 4 next season though.

You know how Pep Guardiola stepped aside to let Vilanova manage Barca? I think Guardiola knew that the side he had managed was slowly losing it's prominence. I think Ferguson has done a Pep - he knows that side he's left behind (despite it winning the league) isn't all it's cracked up to be. Moyes has inherited something that isn't as superior as many believe it to be. Cleverly? Welbeck? The future isn't that bright really when you look at them and the aging team. I know, write them off at your peril etc. But, I can just feel that perch starting to wobble.

I'd say if he finished 3rd and didnt get to Champions league SF their spoilt fans especially and media would be on his back, even if he won the FA Cup

This could have been scripted by a Liverpool fan. It's just perfect. Outside of us winning stuff it's the most enjoyable few days I've had in football.

Its perfect.

Fucks both clubs.

A real tonic after the last few shitty weeks.

It will also be really interesting to see the new dynamic in the league without ginsoak lording it over about 15 lackey managers.

I think Moyes is a good manager, who has done a good job at Everton. That said, I think he's ill-equipped for the job he's taking over. A great amount of their success has been based around the fact they're willing, even eager, to risk losing a point to win three and we saw quite clearly on Sunday that Moyes doesn't subscribe to that way of thinking. Then you factor in that Ferguson won't be able to influence referees into giving the evil empire decisive calls and, in my opinion, you have the beginning of a glorious decline.
