Golden gloves his first 3 seasons.
Actually spoke out against Hicks & Gillett when others refused to.
Fuck knows how many goal assists.
Bombed out the club by FSG for that fucking clown Mignolet to save on his wages.

He tailed off badly towards the end of his career with us but actually improved for the last 6 months before he left and was always a better keeper than Mignolet.

He’ll always be a legend for having the bollocks for calling out cancer and aids when far too many others refused to.

Admittedly this is taken from his wikipedia page, but goes to show you should never learn too much about your heroes, the fuckers will only let you down in the end!:-

"In July 2018, Reina and former Napoli footballers Paolo Cannavaro and Salvatore Aronica were subject to a hearing by the Italian Football Federation over links to the Esposito brothers, high-ranking members of the Camorra.[98] Reina was also accused of trying to get free tickets for the Lo Russo Camorra clan.[99]

In May 2020, Reina drew attention for supporting the anti-lockdown protests by far-right political party Vox amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain.[100] In February 2021, he called the left-wing party Podemos "the worst thing that has happened to Spain in the last 40 years".[101]"

Footballers have never been too smart.

This bit seems to have been erased from people's memories.

All good.

Unfortunately he also appears to be a fascist.

Yeah, I don't think speaking against Hicks and Gillet over a decade ago excuses dismissing a terrible virus that has killed millions of people and harmed countless more.

I can't believe he's still playing and for Lazio at that. He looked like a pub footballer at Villa.

Fair play to him.

Isn’t he just saying, very poorly:

”Racism is wrong and shouldn’t happen. It needs to be stamped out”

”I don’t believe my nation is racist as a whole, but there are racist cunts here who make the issue”

”Regardless of his skin colour, Vinicius is an amazing footballer, but a bit of a whopper”

More he's  adding to the chorus of shite in Spain that he brings it on himself by diving and complaining to refs

Fair enough - if it’s a case of him saying “if he doesn’t want racist abuse, then don’t act the cunt” then that is bad. Really bad.

But if he’s saying “the abuse someone gets should never be racist, but he does deserve non-racist grief as he is a cunt” then it’s more a case of ‘why say anything at all? Sit this out you fool’. Not the best time to chime in with the fact you don’t like Vini Jr
