'Pointless' or 'The Chase'

It's The Chase for me, although I've quite liked Pointless the few times I've watched it.

Usually record (Sky+) Pointless and start watching it 7 or 8 minutes in - and pausing it to make sure I've got a really good answer.

well I watch the Chase everynight well always miss the first ten minutes coming home, but have never seen Pointless but then Eggheads is always put on by someone after the Chase and the Chase definately shits all over that

Tight call. I generally watch The Chase as there's more questions and the missus prefers it, but I do like Pointless and once actually applied to get on it.

Pointless is absolutely shite, the Chase at least has an element of properly testing your general knowledge, and Bradley walsh is pretty sound.

A girl I know's mate was actually on Pointless the other week. They got through to the head to head where they had to unscramble US state capitals in anagram form. Her team didn't have a clue what one of them was and said 'Omaha' even though it blatantly wasn't the answer.

 

Inevitably, they got it wrong, and that Richard fella said: "Congratulations, not only is that not the anagram, but you've given us an answer which isn't even a US capital."

 

Inevitably, the girl was bombarded with texts saying 'Oma-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha' when she she told her mates what happened after the recording.

Prefer pointless as it depends on your own ability rather than a smartarse quiz show winner and its more interactive. Finally it has no breaks in it.
