I think it's all right tbh and though I don't like Clarkson on a personal level, he's a decent enough presenter. That sudoku answer was mad - she correctly deduced how to work out the answer, added it up twice and still got it wrong. And the answers weren't even that close together to make it tricky. Imagine getting on and doing that. You'd be gutted.

Did you see Tipping point ? Even by the usual standards the young girl contestant was absolutely thick. She was asked something about Montezuma and passed it to the other player. When he went for Aztec , she was made up and said she thought the Aztecs were from Greece.

At the start of each episode we watch Turdsette looks at the name of the fourth contestant and asks me if I think they’re gonna be a snake.

I would say Shaun is worse, as in the final chase he flaps if he gets one wrong and tends to lose his way completely. Paul isn't much better knowledge-wise but is cooler in the final chase.

The Irish scientist,  who is a researcher at Oxford University, is joining the ITV series as the sixth Chaser - three years after appearing on the show as a contestant.

From the stats I read over the whole series since it started Anne Hegarty had the best win ratio apparently, with Paul Sinha second....

The Beast can fall to pieces as well but when he's on form he's relentless. Hegarty is definitely the most consistent and doesn't flap.

It's getting tougher to beat the Chasers generally though. Reading and beefing up knowledge is basically what they get paid to do. You'd have to be pretty good yourselves to beat them in the final chase.
