One-time Everton left back Neil Pointon has a religious shrine dedicated to him in the Maika National Park in the DR Congo. Worshippers arrive wearing mullets and moustaches, and are treated to a post-worship meal of Picnic bars and cartons of Um Bongo - the national drink. Sacrificial offerings of marmosets are only allowed once the animals have been allowed to pick mandarins.
