Bought it tonight and got in 45 minutes. It's beautiful and immense and it's just wonderful to have the Master Chief and Cortana back.

I'll get it at the end of the week probably and hammer through the campaign then onto the online. It's one of the few games that I actually play the campaign before going online, by all accounts 343 have done the game and Bungie proud.

I didn't even know it was out until I bungled into Tesco before. I'm going to trade stuff in and buy it tomorrow. It looks and sounds class. But the rate at which people are flying through the campaign is a bit troubling.

Well, for the first time I've decided to start on Heroic, rather than blast through first time on Normal and then 'savour' the next play through on the higher setting.

 

So far, so amazing. Although there does seem to be a lot of 'bloom' around the edges at times.

 

As for the Campaign length, I have heard that all of the extra graphical and visual 'grunt' has meant that the console is creaking at the hinges, and it has impacted a bit on the amount of space left for the scale and scope of original Halo.

 

But fuck it, I love Halo and this is wonderful so far

I'll get it when it's cheap but I bet the campaign is only 8 hours long or something weak. Still, I need to know what the eff was on that planet at the end of Halo 3.

Played a couple of hours of the campaign now, it's really good. The new enemies are really tough until you get used to them. Not too sure which direction in which the story is headed off but I'm looking forward to playing through and finding out.

 

Mutiplayer has had a lot of work. There's now a killcam and you can select load outs when you start off at the beginning of a match. I've not tried Spartan Ops yet but it's definitely Halo online, complete with the knobheads. I take no end of pleasure in killing some screeching fuckwit who has killed you eight times in a row.

Yeah, they've deffo beefed up the recoil and clattering noise. Even the infamously wimpy Assault Rifle is a pleasure to fire

Over halfway through the campaign now, think it's really good. Loved the Mantis and the Mammoth missions.

I have finished the campaign on heroic. Liked it a lot. Going into hell tonight with my nephew who is pretty good. I'll just run around and get killed loads.

Clocked the campaign last night, really enjoyed it and I look forward to going through it again in co-op on Legendary. Not a chance I'll finish it by myself. Also going to play some Spartan Ops, really looking forward to that.

Anybody know where to get it at a good price. Can't find it for less than £35 quid. Considering lots of places, like the one above, were doing it for £25 or a bit less (£23.95), I'm hoping I'll see it lower priced.
