Finishing mid table aint going to help retaining our top players nor attracting any qaulity players.

Not too convinced that Rogers is going to cut it out at Liverpool, doesnt have any tactical sense. At least with Benitez he would put out different formations for certain games.

If we ant win home games how on earth are we going to climb the table. Fucking mediocre, doesnt help with a paper thin squad either.

We cant afford to be mid table club for another 2-3 years if it means puttign up with rogers so that he can get us back to the top. Nothing has changed from lasr season.

When valencia sacked benitez, they went downhill the same has happened with Liverpool at least in his era i had the priviledge to watch Torres/Alosno/Mascherano.

Rant over.

The only positive thing to take from this is that it seems people are starting to realize what a special player Suarez is. Not just for his talent but for his guts and passion and committment. He's a player who deserves to be protected, not abused. I think officials, some, are starting to appreciate that a little. It was also nice at the end to see the respect he got all around.

"A teamful of Suarezes" is what we should sing. An absolutely phenomenal player.

Most of the rest suck.

We dominated that. Hard not to take some positives from it.

Also hard not to see some obvious negatives.

Overall though it does just boil down to the same problems as last year. We're not bad at all moving the ball about but when we get to the final third we find it very very hard to get the thing in the back of the oppositions net.

Until thats resolved we're going nowhere but midtable.

Stoke's former Liverpool and Newcastle striker Michael Owen on Twitter: "Not having Coloccini's red card at all. He didn't touch him and to say there was intent is laughable. Let me tell you, he kicks a moving ball a thousand times a day and doesn't miss it once. If he wanted to connect with a standing leg then he wouldn't have missed. He pulls out at the last minute and doesn't touch him. Not having that's a red at all."

Go suck a dick Owen, you little cunt.

Shelvey seems to lose his cool when he gets in or around penalty area. He's done it a few times this season, Sunderland away were he dragged shot 4-5 yards wide from 20yards out, and the same in the derby.

Saying that, he seems the only one who supports Suarez, we've all said it but we don't get anyone beyond Suarez, but some how get fucked on counter attack all the time.

Rodgers reminds us that if you have more possession than opposition you win 79% of games, so roughly 8- out of 10 games.

How many games we played this season with more possession and not won? We really need to focus on becoming a solid unit, we aren't going to score many goals so we have to have a solid defence but we're awful.

I thinking deserve credit.

THIS is a World Class player, not the one we saw for the past few weeks.

I love being right, fucking adore it.

There's no fucking difference, stop making things up. Suarez is the same he's been, and the same he probably will be for the rest of his career. A brilliant player who will frustrate and astonish in equal measure.

On the performance, it's become more apparent that more squad players aren't likely to do much for us in January. We need another match winner in the final third. Bring in one genuine world class talent to play with Suarez and we will look much much brighter. Fuck knows who, but combine all the transfer money available for that one player rather than 2 or 3 lesser quality IMO. We managed to get Suarez without Champions League football, we can attract another.

Just back, in haste. A useful draw against a good Newcastle side, well managed by Pardew, and a nice unbeaten run is unfolding.

But two wins in a quarter of a season is not EL form. Hodgson had done better at this point and was sacked, KK didn’t survive a disastrous second half of the season, Rodgers will need to improve. The shots on goal ( I didn’t count) were disproportionately low to our possession.

Suarez was immense, but cannot do it on his own. Enrique’s pass for Luis goal was pure class (pretty much there only good thing he did all afternoon).

Ironically, it was a route one goal. We should have won it, but simply do not have the firepower to convert possession into goals.

We badly missed Johnson’s attacking creativity, Sahin, Gerrard and Allen do not look like they are a winning midfield three. The Coloccini sending off was right, the ref did well. Downing exasperates. Shelvey squandering the chance at the end of the game was indicative of too many players who are not quite good enough.

Best moment of the game? When the sprinkler system went on accidentally and doused some fans in the front few rows!

Personally, I thought we deserved more than a point, some of the passing and play in the first half was sublime and pretty damn nice to behold.

Sadly, like most of our games, we just cant seem to score.

Maybe time for the target to be put behind the goal again, as we dont seem to have anyone capable of hitting it. (Suarez aside)

What is it with us, that whenever we get the chance, the opposition goal area is almost empty of people wanting to take the chance to take a shot?

Was it Sir bob who said, “If you’re in the penalty area and don’t know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we’ll discuss the options later.” Why dont we have anyone in the box to start with?

Ticky tacky or whatever its called looks all fine and dandy, but without the goals, its just passing the ball with flair.

Not been a fan of BR due to how he, and who he replaced if im honest, but making us look good in the way we play, certainly doesnt replace the fact we are not getting the points we should be getting.

Seeing a porn star suck a cock, is not even close to her sucking you off herself, and at the minute, thats what BR is doing, he is showing a good film without the suction.

Tell you what really pisses me off...and has done for ...like...ever. The way refs accept time wasting as part of the game.

It actually deprives the paying audience of the thing they came to see. Football. It is tedious watching a professional athlete so badly injured that he needs to be carried manfully from the pitch, only to see him return 3 seconds later and do a hundred meters in 9.5 seconds.

Here's the main scam...

- ball goes out of play for goal kick and keeper looks to go and get it.

- Goalkeeper does this really obvious fake run, where he uses a running action but is actually going slower than walking. He is actually moving at around fourteen miles per fortnight.

- he picks up the ball and carries it to the opposite side of the goal from where it went out.

- despite the ball being spherical, it needs spinning 5 times to get the lie right.

- now he needs to tramp down the turf

- it needs a second tramping.

- his shorts have mysteriously loosened and he needs to adjust them....Twice.

- he backs off to take the kick

- he realises that his boots are too muddy to kick a ball and cleans them by kicking the post. (They're never too dirty when his team are losing.)

- He takes the kick

- the ball goes out for a throw.

- the center half has got cramp

- the keeper helps him by exercising his non-cramped leg.

- A substitution will be made once some have the players have swapped various items of clothing.

- the referee signals to his watch with great authority, then adds on 5 seconds.

Book 'em ref!
