He will stay so he can continue to work with Rodgers.

That's exactly what he did when he signed a new contract and turned down moves to other clubs.

If the offer comes, FSG will negotiate. City know that. So if they really want Suarez they will get him.

To be fair to Luis, he deserves better than battling for 13th place against mighty Swansea. If it's not January it will be next summer. He will leave, sooner than most people think.

Why are also some people so angry with journalists reporting City's interest? They've been spot on about Torres leaving when people were laughing at them.

Yep, all of this. FSG will sell anything that isn't nailed down if the price is right. Suarez's transfer fee could probably fund a whole new tier by itself.

While Sueraz is joint top goal scorer, lets not be fooled, we know Sueraz takes 3 or 4 shots to score. The only reason joint top, everything is presently goes through the middle to Sueraz, if we had decent forwards either side, i doubt his present goal tally would be so high.

In reality if City offer anything near 50m, it will be close to impossible to turn down, i wouldn't count on Rodgers stopping it, he'd love the kitty.

The only way Suarez will stay with us is if we get in the cl. It's fucking shite, we get a good player, we sell them to buy 4-5 mediocre players. Without the wanks spending some of their wedge we are destined to become mediocre at best. City, utd, Chelsea, psg you can all fuck off and choke on your dirty money plastic cartel of shite

Losing Suarez would be a mortal blow to any CL ambitions.

So long as we are outside the CL, envious eyes will covet Suarez, and Sterling. The solution is to finance a serious CL tilt- not to cash in our chips.

A £15m premium would interest FSG’s moneymen, but Rodgers has no track record of buying goal-scoring strikers. Luis out, Luke Moore in, does not excite me.

First stage is denial, fucking hacks shitstirring, Suarez has just signed a new contract and buys into Brendan’s philosophy, he loves it here.

Second stage acknowledgement, if he goes we want more than Ronaldo money and we can buy inserts 4 or 5 top players.

Third stage we can’t really attract those players as we don’t have c/l and we are not paying silly wages so we have to gamble and buy the new Borini’s.

Fourth stage fuck off FSG. I just skipped to this stage as it saves wasting time. When they got rid of Kenny and had a shortlist of Martinez & Rodgers. it showed a lack of ambition and there were certainly questionable motives behind the appointment. Then when you look at the lack of depth in the squad it doesn't look pretty.

He will move on as he is too good for this team, most likely in the summer but if someone chucks enough money then FSG will sell. As I said previously if Gerrard was five years younger and we were performing at this level he would be off.

Maybe I have been a bit harsh on Brendan as over the past week he may have been trying to warn us and I stupidly thought he was waffling talking down expectations. When you look back at his comments it does seem very ominous.
