Binned off the Gladbach game, it's too easy managing a European top flight team from the off so I've reverted to type for some journeyman action.

Started off unemployed with Sunday League experience and all of the Asian leagues running.

Ended up with my first job at Guangdong Rizhiquan in the Chinese First Division which is the 2nd tier in China. I got offered top flight jobs in Hong Kong but China and Korea are the top level leagues in Asia so I reckon I'm better off starting in one of those and going for promotion rather than top flight elsewhere.

I've taken over with 12 games to go in 8th place with 24 points. Dongya are on top with 39. At best I think we can maybe scrape top 4 or 5 if things improve drastically. However squad morale is abysmal and the squad has 5 or 6 players who would be considered first choice who are injured.

The best 3 players in the squad are centre half Jean, striker Reinaldo and on loan striker Doreilton who are all Brazilian.

There are a couple of Chinese midfielders who look decent but that aside it's pretty grim viewing so far.

We are outside of the transfer window so the squad I have can't be changed so all I can do is try to string a few results together until we can overhaul the squad in January and hopefully have a decent end to the season to build up morale.

Tried this a few weeks now, but I can't really seem to get any sort of steam going or find a tactic that brings consistency. Also it says that doing major alterations to the tactics each game will have a negative effect, but if you play Yeovil at home in the league cup and then man city away the next game you're obviusly going to use 2 completely different tactics.

Still miss the CM 01/02 one.
