Fellaini is the clear winner for me and I'd have Ozil second. Fellaini is worth no more than 5mil, he is a fucking terrible dirty alehouse footballer who looks out of his depth every time he steps out on the pitch. He'll be the symbol of Moyes tenure for me, a overhyped, average player who only looked half decent at a smaller club with the team built around him, Ozil would be up there because he has produced nothing to justify the massive fee laid out on him, an unnecesarry signing pulled out of the hat by Wenger to relieve some of the pressure on him after they failed miserably going after Suarez. Lamela and Soldado have been thoroughly uninspiring, also.

What's the one (or more than one if you like) result that really stands out for you as a low point? As we are blowing teams away and currently the best team in the world, it's important not to forget how fucking shit some of the football and results have been in the last 30 years. It makes the current success all the more sweeter. I'm going to go for the obvious one and say the Champions league final against Madrid. Had an horrific chest infection and in bed all week on antibiotics, dragged myself out of bed to make it the pub with my mates with my Mrs going spare at me, almost coughed myself to death in the pub, got forced to do a shit loads of shots and then…

I think I am in the minority but I would. He just about has enough credit for me in the bank for me to have another go. I really can't be fucked with starting again as well. There's one thing he and his team have to do this Summer and that is decide what system we are going to utilise and go and sign the players who fit it. Two seasons in a row we have ripped up our plans and started again mid-point. Both have led to great runs mind you but we need a more apparent blueprint from day one. Our Summer business will be very interesting this Summer. When FSG complete their season review, I suspect Rodgers will have a bigger say in who we go for. For what it's worth…

Simple question. He's served his ban, is back and playing brilliantly. He'd demand a massive pay rise and his performances would justify it but would you pay say £175k a week to keep him?

The manager has been a slow burn for me. Initially I was skeptical about his appointment, thinking he was a flavour of the month manager appointment ala Hodgson previously. I also as a 39 year old Irish bullshitter, believed i saw similar traits in Brendan. Talks a good game... some success with a junior team, but not Liverpool material. Nonetheless - fully behind him since appointment and certainly believe that he has made significant progress since Christmas last year, in part boosted by signings of Countinho and Sturridge. I am know fully behind him, a lot of my earlier doubts and skepticism have been erased. i do believe he is learning on the job, b…

Bearing in mind the crunch match with the team you are fighting for the title with is an away match, would you swap the games in hand position City have?

I’ve been thinking again. On our Champions League runs in the mid to late 2000’s, and especially in 2005, our second legs at home were seen as a key to us winning those ties where we weren’t favourites. However, I think having the second leg away from home is much more beneficial. The first leg at home lets you get whatever you get - ideally, a win without a goal conceded - and then you know that if you can get one goal in the second leg that you basically kill off the tie thanks to the away goals rule. But if you are away first and get a whatever result then you lose the benefit of having a possibly double counting goal in the second leg that may be much n…

If a foreign club offer us £75m upfront on the 1st of July, allowing us ample time to buy reinforcements, would you deal at that price?

You know. A fan of Liverpool FC. Celebrating wins and trophies. Being excited by transfer windows and who might be joining. Enjoying the rivalry with Everton, United et al. Because that's been all but sucked out of us over the last few years. Instead - as evidenced by various LFC forums - we've been driven seemingly insane by the need to try and become experts on financing, debt, loan repayments, and administration. To attempt to decipher the media machinations, in-fighting, agendas, lies and manoeuvering. To read between the lines of every press statement and article telling us who is leaving/ staying/ getting fired/ hired/ sacked. I haven't enjoyed being a …

im not one for dwelling on the past, but seriously, what in gods name has happened to the lad? 2 years ago he was untouchable, quite easily the best finisher in the premiership, i remember one time my brother said, "if the ball hit off that cunts arse it will end up in the top corner, he's a goal machine" but contrast that to now, the poor fella is a shambles i dont mean this to be a slanging match on Torres, the lad scored plenty of great goals for us, we got good money for him, so i dont begrudge his move but what are peoples opinions on his complete lack of form? wasnt there rumours about his knee or something like that, ive even heard rumo…

Liverpool have completed the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City. The Switzerland international put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the club at Melwood after completing a medical on Friday. Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com shortly after sealing his switch to Anfield, Shaqiri said: “I’m very happy to be here. It’s a huge club with big history, big players and a fantastic coach. So I’m really glad and happy to be here. “As a player you always want to be on the biggest stage in football. A few years ago I wanted to come too but it didn’t happen. I’m really happy that now I’m finally here. I want to improve myself too, I want to be with the best and I want to w…

I've decided to offer everyone the chance of an xmas bonus. Read carefully. In the Xmas Bonus bet you can place no more than 10 credits. If anyone places more than 10 credits then the bet will be void and everyone will lose their cash. No private bets in the bonus bet please The bet will pay out IF either Liverpool or their opposition score during Operation Anfield Exercise or if any player is sent off (not during the stand by period) Odds are 1000/1 so the winners will get 10000 xmas bonus. I will apply the bonus to all league home games before Christmas or until it pays out.
